What is your most favourite deviation in your gallery?
This question is not an easy one... I like many deviations in my gallery... some old, some new... some traditional, some digital... some drawings, some photos......

I would be lying if I said I don't like A Fight on Flight. It doesn't have the most amazing background ever, only some clouds and a funny little patch of grass... BUT I drew it from a perspective I never drew from before, and I drew wings on a style that I really think looks better than any other way that I have tried before. I love that picture, especially so since it's a scene from a role play that I like very much.

However, I wouldn't be calling it my top favourite. There are others I like as well, such as Even Clouds Are No Limit, or Under the Rain that I drew for the 100 picture challenge. In those both I experimented with a different shading style, the same one I used for the wings in A Fight on Flight.

And yet I would also say I really like the huge 3 screen Wallpaper I drew for Razmirz. That project was really a lot of fun, especially so when it was finally done and I managed to send it to him. Always nice to see people like the things I draw for them. ^^

But, so far I've mentioned only the digital pieces I like... Lets not forget the traditional side. The A3 sized Aslan of Narnia painting is perhaps my favourite traditional art piece that I've ever submitted to dA, if not even my favourite of all traditional art I've done so far. I painted fur, I painted decent grass... But most importantly, I painted clouds, something I've never managed to pull out before this piece. I really love it, and am still very happy of the result.

Out of my photography area, I'm not sure which one I like more: Frozen or Pearls Of The Nature 8. I'm proud of both those photos, so much so that Frozen became the xmas card me and my parents sent around to our relatives and other people we are familiar with, and PotN8 I modified for my dad to use on his website that he used as a tool when he was teaching my class two courses this spring.

To change the area completely, I really got to mention Letter to Myself from literature area. I don't know what type of text that really is, I don't know what made me write it... I do like my stories a lot, but this small piece of text still has more meaning to me than any other text here. It was fun to write, and a bit difficult too, but it was worth the effort. It's just a shame I really could not find the right category for it, if I had it would not lay around in my scraps.

Now to show something completely different, I really like how my WIP: Dragon Lance fan-art has turned out so far. I have a feeling that could be my most favourite piece of artwork, if Crysania's mouth just would stop bugging me and I could actually get myself to finish the drawing... I love the book from which that scene is, I love Raistlin, and I really like the pose etc on it. Crysania is just being a pain in the butt with that troublesome mouth of hers.

And finally... I think we have a winner for my most favourite deviation... Aaand it iiiis.....

MySelf Portrait!! It was the first realistic human I drew, the first time I used that shading style, and the first time I actually managed to draw a picture of myself that looks like me.

Truth is I seriously begun to use dA almost a year later when I submitted my first piece of art here. Before that I only signed in to some artwork so that I could return to look at them later (something that I think I never did LOL).

YAY!! Now that this horrible monstrosity called a T-A-G is done, I can move on to other things.

Norway was awesome! The weather was perfect, and I actually managed to take some decent photos too though I yet haven't moved them to my PC from my camera. Grense Jakobselv was an awesome place to visit, and seeing Russian border so close was.... really odd... The Finnish-Russian border has a big restricted zone, Norwegian-Russian border was nothing similar to that one.

When we drove back to the Kirkenes road from Grense Jakobselv, we turned south and drove as close to the place as we could where mom's dad someday lived. (I know he was my granddad, but I never saw him so it feels odd calling him that... ) We saw Nikel across the lake at the border there, or well more like the tall smoke pipe things. That too was very odd.. Seriously, that area sometime belonged to Finland.

Ah.. Anyway, as I said, the trip was awesome. I'm planning to drag my dad up to a local fell called Otsamo on Friday and walk him for the full 13km route there . Our only problem is the slight possibility of rain. =/ It'll suck if it rains, I really want to go to Otsamo on Friday.
